Microbreweries face unique challenges in product development. With a constantly changing product catalog and one-off releases in limited numbers, they have an ongoing need for new label designs, putting a strain on resources. Through discussions and projects with breweries, I identified the need for flexible, cost-effective label solutions leading to this portfolio project.

For the fictional client Cider Lab, I took this to an extreme – Imagining them as a client solely focused on their product and the technical aspects of its production. To meet this idea, I developed a modular system allowing the brewery to independently update product design on their own – allowing them to stay flexible and cut down on the need for outside design help.

To strengthen brand Identity I introduced a series of stickers inspired by fruit labels. These serve as  strong branding elements and a practical tool to visually differentiate bottles while also highlighting their tastes and intruducing a human touch to the otherwise clean and minimalist aesthetic further communicating Cider Labs craftsmanship.

RUCKEL BREWING

Ruckel Brewing approached me during the spring of 2025 wanting to elevate their label designs. Ruckel Brewing originates from the industrial city of Trollhättan with much of its heritage connected to manufacturing and energy production. Wanting to keep this heritage at the center while still looking forward I utilized industrial typefaces combined with more modern typographic elements to keep the labels still feeling like ”Trollhättan”. In this project I also completely restructured technical information giving Ruckel Brewing a clean template for the future.

Gothenburg Space

During the summer 2024 i got to work on the graphic identity and social media assets for a techno event in Gothenburg, Sweden. The line up featured prominent artists such as The Rocketman, Amero as well as lesser known, but cult status, artist like Hertz.

After a trip to South Korea in the begining of the summer 2025 i, together with swedish-korean product designer Lovisa Byul Wennergren, created a branding concept inspiered by our travels to go along with her sunglass designs. These sunglass designs were then made real trough blender where I 3d-modeled and took product shots of them. 

The identity takes inspiration from nightlife and luxury combined with the more rugged parts of Korean society and it’s industrial herritage.

WIP project blending play and sophistication. The bespoke dot-matrix typeface is influenced by LED stereo displays and audio visualisation as well as the shape of Oljuds products.
